The scrollcase temperature is measured generally once per day, and the scrollcase, although at a different elevation in each dam, is useful indicator of the temperature that the fish passing through the juvenile bypass system experience.
The Tlwtr (Tailwater) and Frby (Forebay) TDGFMS (Total Dissolved Gas Fixed Monitoring Stations), are temperature probes that are above and below the dam itself, and are used to measure the temperature at the same place dissolved gas is measured as per Boyle's Law.
