Lower River Hatchery Stock – LRH
- 2004 return of near 111,000 is above average but down from 2002 and 2003
- Below average to poor return of jacks in 2004
- 2005 return should be down from 2003 and 2004 and below 100,000
Lower River Wild Stock – LRW
- 2004 return very near prediction of 24,200
- Average return of jacks in 2004
- 2005 return should be similar to the previous three years of about 20,000
Bonneville Pool Hatchery Stock – BPH
- 2004 return of over 180,000 is close to a record high return
- Jacks in 2004 down from recent years
- 2005 return should be strong but below recent four years (average 162,000)
Upriver Bright Stock – URB
- 2004 return of near 370,000 is one of the largest on record (since 1964)
- 2004 jacks down from recent years
- 2005 return should be very strong but down from 2004
Mid-Columbia Bright Stock – MCB
- 2004 was the third year of over 100,000 return
- 2005 return should be similar to 2004 return
Total Columbia River Fall Chinook
- 2004 return of near 800,000 is similar to very strong returns of recent two years
- 2005 return should be strong but less than recent three years (700,000 – 900,000)
Coho
- 2004 return just over 400,000
- Columbia River jack returns are 68% of the 2003 returns
- 2005 return should be down from recent years
