Hatchery Release Data
The FPC HatcheryMap Pro app maps hatcheries and their associated release sites within the Columbia River Basin and retrieves release data. This database includes hatcheries that release salmonids in tributaries that drain into the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
Brief Instructions:
- Notes:
- The legend for the hatchery release data mapping application can be found here. It shows the colors, symbols and scales at which objects are displayed on the map.
- Click here for detailed instructions for using the Hatchery/Release Site Mapping Application.
- Click here for the Hatchery/Release Site Mapping Application Metadata.
- Points for some release sites that are named for the tributary (e.g., Umatilla River) are assumed to be ½ mile upstream from the mouth of the tributary and may not indicate exactly where fish were/are released, unless the FPC staff had data to the contrary.
- For each species and release site combination, all historical and current year data are provided in the data table.
