Fish Condition Table Fieldnames and Descriptions

FieldnameDescription
SiteFish condition sampling site (see the following table). Fish condition data are a sub-sample of the sample data collected at SMP site locations.
DateDate fish condition sub-sample collected.
SpeciesSpecies of fish includes: CH0 - Chinook sub-yearling; CH1 - Chinook yearling; ST - Steelhead; CO - Coho; and SO - Sockeye.
Number of fish sampledNumber of fish by species within the daily site sub-sample.
Percentage of fish with physical injuriesPercentage of fish by species within the daily site sub-sample with signs of physical injury. Physical injury includes head injuries, eye injuries, operculum injuries, body injuries, and fin injuries not due to disease. Injuries do not include fish with pop eye, fin hemorrhages, fish with pink fins or fin discolorations.
Percentage of fish with signs of diseasePercentage of fish by species within the daily site sub-sample with signs of disease. This includes fish showing symptoms typical of disesase, such as fungus, BKD, Columnaris, parasites, deformities or other diseases.
CommentComment about daily percentage of physical injury or disease. The comment 'Inadequate sample numbers' is added to each record that has less than 20 fish examined and a percentage descaled greater than zero.
