Fish Condition Table Fieldnames and Descriptions
Fieldname Description Site Fish condition sampling site (see the following table). Fish condition data are a sub-sample of the sample data collected at SMP site locations. Date Date fish condition sub-sample collected. Species Species of fish includes: CH0 - Chinook sub-yearling; CH1 - Chinook yearling; ST - Steelhead; CO - Coho; and SO - Sockeye. Number of fish sampled Number of fish by species within the daily site sub-sample. Percentage of fish with physical injuries Percentage of fish by species within the daily site sub-sample with signs of physical injury. Physical injury includes any physical injury to a fish's head, body, or fins not due to disease. Percentage of fish with signs of disease Percentage of fish by species within the daily site sub-sample with signs of disease. This includes fish showing symptoms tyipical of disesase, such as BKD or Columnaris. Comment Comment about daily percentage of physical injury or disease. The comment 'Inadequate sample numbers' is added to each record that has less than 20 fish examined and a percentage descaled greater than zero. Fish Condition Sampling Sites
